Val Mason is a self-taught artist who enjoys working with different mediums and natural materials; she merges these elements together in unexpected ways to create something new and unique – fascinating to look at, but also functional. She finds the raw material of the Earth to be a soothing medium to work with and one that helps the body and soul stay grounded. She considers herself a mystic and a student of Life.  Remaining open to the mysterious unknown in service to a higher power is what fuels her creativity and passion to grow.
